ICP Components
1. Company Overview
Describe your own company:
- Company name
- Business model
- Value proposition
- Key products/services
2. Target Industries
Define industries you serve:
- Primary industries
- Industry keywords for search
- German and English terms (for local search)
3. Target Geography
Where are your customers:
- Countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, etc.)
- Regions within Germany
- City tiers (major cities, secondary cities)
4. Company Size
What size companies:
- Employee count ranges
- Revenue ranges (optional)
5. Qualification Criteria
What makes a good fit:
- Business types (B2B, manufacturing, etc.)
- Legal forms (GmbH, AG, etc.)
- Decision maker roles
6. Exclusion Criteria
Who to avoid:
- Industries to exclude
- Company types to skip
- Competitors
Setting Up Your ICP
- Go to Lead Generation → ICP Setup
- Fill in each section carefully
- Be specific - vague ICPs generate poor leads
- Click Save Draft to save progress
- Click Submit for Approval when complete
ICP Status
- Draft - Work in progress
- Pending Approval - Submitted, awaiting review
- Approved - Ready for lead generation
Tips for a Good ICP
- Be specific - "Manufacturing companies with 50-200 employees in Bavaria" is better than "German companies"
- Include pain points - Helps AI find companies with those problems
- List multiple keywords - More keywords = better search coverage
- Update regularly - Refine based on lead quality
