Moving Leads from Pipeline to CRM

When a lead responds to your outreach, it's time to move them from the BD Pipeline to the CRM for relationship management.

When to Move a Lead

Move a lead to CRM when:

  • They reply to your email
  • They accept your LinkedIn connection
  • They respond to your call
  • You have any form of two-way communication

How to Move a Lead

  1. Go to BD Pipeline
  2. Find the lead that responded
  3. Click the Move to CRM button
  4. Select the appropriate status:

- Replied - For general responses

- Meeting - If a meeting is scheduled

- Proposal - If you're sending a proposal

  1. Click Confirm

After Moving

Once in CRM:

  1. Set a follow-up date
  2. Add notes about the interaction
  3. Update status as the relationship progresses

Tips

  • Move promptly - Don't let leads sit in Pipeline after responding
  • Choose the right status - Accurate status helps tracking
  • Add context - Note what they said in their response
