CRM Overview
The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module helps you manage leads after they've responded to your outreach.
CRM Stages
Leads in CRM can have these statuses:
- Contacted - Initial contact made
- Replied - They responded
- No Response - No reply yet (for follow-up)
- Contact Later - Scheduled for future follow-up
- Meeting - Meeting scheduled or held
- Proposal - Proposal sent
- Won - Deal closed successfully
- Lost - Deal lost
Moving Leads from Pipeline
Leads come to CRM from the BD Pipeline:
- In BD Pipeline, click Move to CRM on a lead
- Select the initial CRM status
- The lead appears in your CRM
Updating Lead Status
- Find the lead in CRM
- Use the status dropdown to change status
- Status updates are saved automatically
Follow-up Tracking
- Set follow-up dates for each lead
- Overdue follow-ups are highlighted in red
- Dashboard shows leads needing follow-up
Moving Leads Back to Pipeline
If a CRM lead goes cold:
- Find the lead in CRM
- Click Move to Pipeline
- The lead returns to BD Pipeline for re-prospecting
Tips for CRM Success
- Update statuses promptly - Keep data current
- Set follow-up dates - Never let leads go cold
- Add notes - Document all interactions
- Review weekly - Check for stale leads
