Time Tracker Overview

The Time Tracker helps you track how you spend your time across different activities.

Starting a Timer

  1. Go to Time Tracker
  2. Select a Category from the dropdown
  3. Enter a Task description (what you're working on)
  4. Click Start
  5. The timer begins counting

Stopping a Timer

  1. Click Stop when done
  2. Time entry is saved automatically
  3. Weekly totals update

Categories

Default categories include:

  • BlackSwanAI BD (7.5h/week target)
  • BlackSwanAI Product (2.5h/week)
  • Content German (3h/week)
  • Content English (2h/week)
  • AI Training (5h/week)
  • Job Search (various)
  • Personal Learning (2.5h/week)

Customizing Categories

  1. Click on a category name
  2. Edit:

- Name

- Color

- Weekly target hours

- Priority

  1. Save changes

Weekly Summary

View your weekly progress:

  • Hours per category
  • Progress toward targets
  • Visual progress bars

Compliance Tracking

For BlackSwanAI hours:

  • Warning at 8 hours
  • Blocked at 10 hours
  • Ensures balanced time allocation

Tips

  • Start timer immediately - Don't forget to track
  • Be specific - Describe what you're doing
  • Review weekly - Adjust habits based on data
